😭 He crawled up to someone's porch in the middle of the night for safety and what he found was his end. They called ACO, in a heartbreaking scene he begged for his life. Has been at the shelter for months, blasted over and over. He is being killed because he is hw positive, had neck lesions, bite marks all over his neck which are healed. The trauma is what is left behind.
This is his last photo. The last time he takes a treat, the last toys he will ever play with. On Wednesday morning he will be walked to the back where he will close his eyes one last time.

Princess Leia arrived at the shelter on 9/23/25 as a stray.
Princess Leia was found wandering the streets all by herself by a citizen and was brought directly to the shelter. She does not have a microchip.
She has excessive polyp growth on both ears blocking both her ear canals and is also dealing with generalized hair loss and a hotspot on her right side.
Won’t you help this shy, older lady get out of the busy shelter and get the medical care she desperately needs?!

Meet Brutus, a very handsome 62-pound Bullterrier mix whose spirit is crumbling under the stress of shelter life. This poor boy is in severe behavioral distress, showing stereotypical behaviors and has a heartbreaking FAS score of 5—the highest level of fear, anxiety, and stress.
Brutus is profoundly overwhelmed, and his desperate behavior is a direct result of being in an environment he simply cannot cope with. His handsome looks hide a deep-seated fear, and he is losing his ability to function. The shelter environment is a direct threat to his well-being, and he is in urgent need of an immediate rescue.
He is not a bad dog; he is an overwhelmed dog who needs a chance to decompress and heal in a calm, loving home.
