Post from a volunteer at the shelter... 2 hearts breaking right here :(
Divva is feeling incredibly stressed in the shelter and ‼️URGENTLY‼️ needs a foster, adopter, or even just a few days away from the stressful shelter environment. She may be shy at first, but give her a little space and time (and cheese😉) and you’ll quickly discover a she is a sweet, cuddly girl with so much love to give.
Divva is:
❤️Potty trained
💜Crate trained
💚Treat-motivated and a quick learner
🧡Snuggly and eager to please
💛Hasn’t been around cats
💙Did well with kids after a short adjustment period (older kids who can understand a dog is shy and respect space would be best)
Divva does well on pack walks with other dogs at the shelter. However, she can be reactive when faced with barriers like fences, potentially barking at dogs she sees on the other side. Fortunately, CARE’s training team is ready to provide any necessary training support to her future foster or adopter.
All Divva needs is someone to give her a little time and space to feel safe and comfortable. If you can offer that, please come meet this sweet girl. She is waiting for you.

Dee is looking so scared. Help her out if you know someone down by St. Louis.
She is currently at Center for Animal Rescue and enrichment of St. Louis.
Please help us help Dee. She is not doing well and staff cannot even leash her to go for a walk. Please email foster@icarestl.org if you can help her.
