Meet these two sweet 12-week-old puppies who have barely begun their lives. They were recently exposed to the deadly parvovirus in a high-kill shelter, and because of this, they are first on the list to be euthanized.
💔They are not sick yet. They still have a chance. But unless they find a foster or rescue immediately, they will be put down. They were only in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Parvo is highly contagious among dogs, which is why most shelters euthanize exposed puppies rather than treat them. But the survival rate for puppies who receive care can be as high as 86%! Shelters simply don’t have the resources to help them, -but we do!!
🙏 THEY NEED A FOSTER HOME NOW. Because of the exposure risk, the foster must not have other dogs in the home. But if you have the space and the heart to help, these baby boys can be saved.
